I graduated in 1982 from North Dakota State University with a B.S. degree in Business Administration and Economics. In 1976 I enlisted in the North Dakota Air National Guard where I was an Aircraft Mechanic for 7 years and had the privilege to attend United States Air Force Pilot Training which allowed me to return to my Guard Unit in Fargo North Dakota and serve as a "Fighter Pilot" accumulating nearly 1500 hours flying the F-4 Phantom and the F-16. In 1985 I was hired by Northwest Airlines and just recently retired after 21 years as an A-320 Captain and Instructor.
